Papaver somniferum 'Red frills'
A cross between an Afghan heirloom and a hardy bush poppy with white flowers and a sturdy, branching habit. The seeds we currently sell are F3. There will probably be some variation but most plants should produce flowers similar to the picture, with intense red flowers with frilled petals. Seed is from a plant selected for its vigour and its stout, branching stature with multiple flowers and large seed pods.
