Just trying to figure out how it all works today...

Welcome to our blog where we'll soon be posting photos, videos and stories about our garden and our favourite plants.
In the meantime, here's a picture of nine-star perennial broccoli from our garden a few years ago. The plant grows like broccoli but flowers look more like cauliflower. The taste and texture is somewhere in between - the best of both.

We thought we'd lost this, but a packet of seeds turned up in a drawer, so we'll try sprouting some this year.

And here's a nice bunch of lemons that we harvested for New Year.

This is Meyers lemon - a cross between lemon and tangerine. The plant is very cold-hardy for a citrus, but it hates our wet autumn weather. It thrives in our greenhouse, out of the rain but without heating.
